84: 119:, Moon was prominent in supporting local and national charities. He arranged the opening of the Fetcham village school in 1854 and was a major subscriber to the establishment of the reading room. He also built one of the three 133:
Moon married Ellen Sidney, only daughter of Thomas Sidney in the West Ham district in 1851. He was succeeded in the baronetcy by his son Francis Sidney Graham Moon.
