Michaił Kaznakow. 12 października 1909 roku budynek został sprzedany na licytacji
Ludwikowi Wilczyńskiemu, współwłaścicielowi znajdującej się przy ulicy Spacerowej 23/25 przędzalni i tkalni wełny. Planował on przebudować willę, lecz w trakcie robót w 1910 roku budynek spłonął. Działkę zakupił łódzki Bank Handlowy i po uprzątnięciu placu wybudował nową siedzibę banku. Ulica Spacerowa przy której znajdowała się willa zwana także Promenadą lub ulicą Promenadową, została założona jeszcze w XIX wieku, jako deptak. W 1917 roku w stulecie śmierci Tadeusza Kościuszki otrzymała jego imię. W 1935 roku ułożono nawierzchnię z klinkieru. W latach 50. XX wieku deptak został zlikwidowany, a na środku ulicy położono szyny tramwajowe. Natomiast ulica Benedykta wyznaczona również w XIX wieku, nosiła tę nazwę do 1915 roku, następnie po I wojnie światowej stała się na dwa lata ulicą św. Benedykta, ponieważ już w 1919 roku zmieniono ją na 6 Sierpnia. W czasach PRL-u była ulicą 22 Lipca, by w 1990 roku powrócić do przedwojennej nazwy 6 Sierpnia.
