Elephants are highly social animals and so it was recommended to move him to another facility that could provide for his social needs. They have not announced yet what they are planning to do with the former elephant paddock or if they will receive more elephants, but they did say that no matter what they decide to do, the enclosure will need to be refurbished and will probably go under construction.
