Engraving of interior view of the Broadway Tabernacle in New York City circa 1850. Black ink printed on a yellowed page shows a round room with a tall coffered dome ceiling supported by 6 corinthian columns and a simple chandelier suspended from the middle of the ceiling. About 2,500 people are seated, and some standing, to watch a speaker on the stage in the middle standing in front of a pipe organ. The view is surrounded by a lightly decorative frame.
