368:, and others were absent for another reasons. but coming to Narimanbey narimanbeyov, i am confused myself, because i took the list from the protocols, published by Central Archieve in Baku, where in the introduction to the book they list all members, except narimanbeyov, but also in the declaration they list Narimanbeyov(?). but i think the problem is in the list taken from address-calendar of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic published in 1920, because clearly, nariman bey Narimanbeyov was present in many seatings of ANC, as i looked through some protocols, so i think one person in the list was really not the member, and i'll try to find it out and replace with Narimanbeyov. Thanks, John, it is the first time that I noticed this. i'll check the list as soosn as possible, so i need to examine 35 protokols. 381:. I am looking for the list of persons presiding at the meetings of the National Council between 27 May 1918 and 3 Dec 1918. Apparently, you are one of the few having access to the minutes (protocols) of the Council. I am aware that Rəsulzadə was the actual chairman (Azərbaycan Milli Şurasının sədri), but I know that he was absent at the meetings of 27 and 28 May 1918 being on a mission to Batumi. I was trying to find when he took the office - either still in Tiflis or when the Council moved to Ganja. Please let me know what is the best way to contact you as I did not find any information at your user's page. Thank you. -- 223: 71: 169: 53: 151: 81: 179: 22: 416:

If you mean the Council, then I'm not sure. But he was definitely in the Parliament. He came to Azerbaijan with Nuri Pasha's army in September 1918 after 9 years of residing in Turkey, so my understanding is, he wasn't among those who signed the Declaration of Independence.

It's Ok, meaning that, when the declararion of independence was adopted, not all members of the council were present, some, including chairman

Definitely not. Hasan bey Agayev was deputy of the speaker of Parliament killed by terrorists in 1920. Agaoglu was only an MP.
